Since Michael Jackson’s Memorial Service, Paris, Prince, and Blanket have been in the light. The subject of the children receiving publicity is controversial with many and draws mixed emotions. Some feel that it dishonors Michael Jackson’s wishes for the children to be in the light, so soon after his death. Others simply want to see the children and hear them speak. No matter whether you crave information on MJ’s kids or would rather that the media leaves them alone, the consensus is overwhelming: everyone is deeply concerned for the children’s safety and well being.

During the Memorial Service, Paris and Prince seemed to have a firmer grasp of the things that have been taking place. Little Blanket, however, seemed to be withdrawn and obviously overwhelmed with all of the attention. Now that questions are arising regarding the children’s biological parents and future custody issues, it seems apparent that Paris, Prince, and Blanket will continue to be in the light. Unfortunately, they may also become the subject of tabloid media fare in a way comparable to that of their father.
